We Raise Quality with Years of Experience

Şen Elyaf has taken quality in its production processes to a higher level by putting into operation Turkey’s first and only fiber metal detector machine on September 25, 2020. Thanks to this technology, every product we manufacture is meticulously inspected, and even the smallest contaminants such as metal particles and dust particles are detected. While the metal detection size ratio for major textile companies in our country is 1 mm-1.2 mm, the device at our facility can detect down to 0.9 mm. Additionally, we aim to increase production capacity by continuously upgrading our machinery. Our innovative approach, annual investments, and leadership in the industry ensure high-quality production and customer satisfaction.

What is fiber and in which industries is it used?

Fiber is a thin strand made from natural or synthetic materials. It is widely used in the textile industry for clothing, home textiles, and technical textile products. It also plays an important role in the automotive, construction, and filtration industries. Fiber provides softness, durability, and flexibility, making it a preferred choice for products such as coats, jackets, and pillows.

What are nanofibers and how do they work?

Nano fiber is a type of fiber that is very thin and high-performance. It is used especially in the clothing, coat, and textile industries. Thanks to its microstructure, nano fiber offers thinner and warmer properties, providing users with comfort and durability. It also has properties such as water resistance and breathability.

What is thermal fiber?

Thermal fiber is a special type of fiber made from 100% polyester material and shaped by heat treatment. It is frequently used in clothing products such as coats, jackets, and vests. Thermal fiber provides better insulation by maintaining body temperature and is harmless to health as it does not contain any chemicals.

How is fiber produced?

Fiber production involves converting natural or synthetic materials into fine fibers. Şen Elyaf uses advanced technology machinery to produce special fiber types such as nano, thermo, and laminated fibers. The production process consists of a series of stages, from processing raw materials to shaping the fibers and giving them the desired thickness and properties. Quality control is the most important step in production.

What is a fiber metal detector machine and how does it work?

A fiber metal detector machine is a device used to detect metal particles and dust particles in the fiber production process. Şen Elyaf guarantees the quality and safety of every product during production with these machines, which can detect metal up to 0.9 mm. This technology ensures that products are completely clean and high-quality, while also operating well below the industry standard for metal detection.

What are the different types of fibers and in which products are they used?

Fiber types vary depending on their area of use. Types such as nano fiber, thermal fiber, laminated fiber, and filter fiber have different properties. Nano fiber is used in clothing and outdoor products, while thermal fiber is used in jackets and coats due to its heat-retaining properties. Laminated fiber is preferred in industrial products due to its coating properties that enhance durability. Filter fiber is used in air and water filtration systems.

What is fiber manufacturing and what processes does it go through?

Fiber manufacturing is the process of converting natural and synthetic materials into fine fibers. During the production stage, raw materials are processed using special machines to obtain fiber types with specific properties. Şen Elyaf manufactures various types of fibers, such as nano, thermo, and laminated fibers. Each type of fiber is tailored to the needs of different industries and undergoes quality control processes before being transformed into the final product.

What are nanofibers and what advantages do they offer?

Nano fiber is a material composed of very fine, high-performance fibers. Thanks to nano technology, these fibers are lighter, more durable, and have better heat retention properties. They are often used in vests, coats, and other clothing items. Nano fiber also has waterproof and breathable properties, making it an ideal choice for outdoor clothing and sports products.

What is laminated fiber?

Laminated fiber is a special type of fiber created by combining two or more layers. It is commonly used to increase durability and provide water resistance. It is used in many areas such as industrial fields, the automotive sector, and textile products. Laminated fiber is preferred in the production of durable clothing and protective equipment due to its flexibility and sturdy structure.

How to use a thermos?

Thermal fiber is a type of fiber made from 100% polyester material and shaped using a special thermal process. It is commonly used in clothing items suitable for cold weather conditions, such as coats, jackets, and vests. Thermal fiber provides extra warmth to the user thanks to its ability to retain body heat. Its absence of chemical additives, safety for health, and high-quality production make it a preferred choice in the clothing industry.
